NEW YORK (AP) Analysts were optimistic on growth for Herbalife Ltd. ahead of a scheduled investor conference Wednesday in Los Angeles....
Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Rommel Dionisio said, in a research note earlier this month, that the charges are "baseless and without merit" and praised the company's 20 percent U.S. sales growth in the third quarter, citing the nutritional management company's Nutrition Clubs for the jump.
"We continue to believe that, as Nutrition Clubs are rolled out in markets other than Mexico and the U.S., Herbalife can see accelerated growth rates throughout the world in markets where such clubs expand," Dionisio said in a client note. He has a "Buy" rating and $47 price target on Herbalife.
Avondale Partners analyst Amy Vinson said after a recent call with investors that management did a good job addressing concerns about the fraud allegations and kept her "Market Outperform" rating and $50 price target.
Shares closed Tuesday trading at $39.11.
