Herbalife Success Stories

Dr. Steven Komadina lost one hundred and fifteen pounds (115 lbs) using ShapeWorks products from Herbalife International. He has effectivly treated over thirteen hundred (1300) patients with Herbalife.

John Peterson, top Herbalife distributor for eight (8) consecutive years, was in Jamaica recently. He was the main speaker at the Chairman's Club tour and Success Training Seminar held at the Hilton Kingston on September 22, 2007. It was quite interesting to hear about his early years in the business. One of the best lessons was his story about recruiting a distributor who eventually became his first President's Team member. He actually called an acquaintance on the telephone - right before midnight - in order to meet his commitment to talk to ten (10) persons per day.

John emphasized the importance of the Herbalife basic Daily Method of Operation for distributors everywhere: "Use. Wear. Talk." This winning combination is obviously significantly "magical" if sustained, given his growing income over more than twenty years. Actively listening to this top distributor, I realized again how simple this business really is both conceptually and practically. Fiscal Fitness & Physical Well-being via Herbalife


I was delighted to qualify as a certified fitness trainer at the Caribbean Fitness Academy last year (2006). [So far I have used this knowledge primarily to help myself.] Now I am equally delighted to be an active "PHD" or Professional Herbalife Distributor. It is now becoming increasingly clear why my health is a key component of personal wealth.


As I use Herbalife cellular nutrition and targeted supplements consistently over time, I realize - to my surprise - that I think better (because my brain is fueled by Herbalifeline, with its essential omega 3 fatty acids); and, I feel renewed confidence (because I feel and look better). One side benefit is that I am able to connect meaningfully with my playful creative side once again - I could elaborate, of course....

Perhaps, you wonder about the authenticity of my story; you may begin as a skeptic, as I once was. But as they say, "the proof is in the pudding." Let me quickly reiterate my tangible results by using the ShapeWorks program. My shape definately improved because I consumed "shake and tea" regularly at Herbalife Nutrition Clubs in Kingston, Jamaica. Despite my initial doubts, I lost twenty-four (24) pounds easily, with no additional cost for meals, dropping from a size 10 to a size 4. The ShapeWorks program really works as designed. Herbalife has provided the easiest way that I have lost fat in my life; in the past, I endured disciplined dieting and rigorous exercise programs to achieve changes from dress size 16 to size 8 and then I went back up to sizes 10 and 12.

I was unable to maintain my weight loss continuously although I tried to watch what I ate and exercised regularly. I dreamed and planned to be at an ideal weight, but my attempts to maintain size 8 was not successful. Thanks to Herbalife, I have improved nutrition. I am at forty (40) years, in the best shape that I have ever been in my adult life. I still am a gym enthusiastic. Better yet, I know a proven convenient method to maintain my size that I can readily sustain indefinitely. Moreover, I am looking forward to competing in a powerlifting competition next year, time permitting. I am convinced that good nutrition and effective exercise go hand in hand. Based on my experience and training, I want to share that nutrition is at least sixty (60) to seventy (70) percentage (%) of weight management results.

Because of the changes in my life, I have the means to become fiscally fit as I enter the Herbalife business adventure, coaching others to achieve wellness and weight management goals. Because of the motivational training seminars, excellent products and attractive marketing plan, I am prepared to promote the Herbalife brand. I am a fully qualified supervisor who just needs to dedicate the time to see my part-time business grow; then, I'll be able to experience remarkable increased earnings, just like the simple powerful testimonials shared by Jim Rohn, business philosopher.

On Wednesday past (September 26, 2007), I received some many compliments of significance. A twenty year old female student asked me to tell her my secret (to a great figure). I was astounded because she was both pretty and normal sized; at closer inspection, she showed me a tiny bulge on her stomach area. Apparently, she was distressed about approximately five (5) to eight(8) pounds of excess belly fat. Later that same day, my specialist physician said I looked chic; even better yet, she indicated that it was up to me whether I continued with my prescription medication at this time. As such, I can safely say that I am physically well. At the same time, I am becoming fiscally fit because I am applying what Herbalife teaches in training seminars and in the manuals in the International Business Pack (IBP).

I think it's time to invest in another set of glamour photographs to be used in my blog. Moreover, I've had a desire to be an example for others by printing my weight-loss story in Fitness, Shape or Herbalife Today magazine with my "Before" and "After" pictures. [Perhaps these actual photos could help me remain inspired while I actively inspire good nutrition and physical fitness in others.]

I am delighted to be sure that I am better looking at forty (40) than I was at twenty (20), thanks in large part to good nutrition. Little did I know that your body can ingest outer nutrition from skin care products. Now that I've been using Herbalife NouriFusion products for a few weeks, my face and the rest of my skin is remarkably smoother and my appearance is noticeably different. The unsolicited positive feedback continues unabated....

According to a survey by the Direct Sales Association, the major reason for becoming a direct sales representative:

This data shows that most of direct sales in 2005 was conducted in multi-level or network marketing companies. Network Marketing is used by a majority of direct selling companies because of its effectiveness. Herbalife uses this model to enable its top performers to be rewarded for their efforts. Power of Leverage - Brilliant Compensation Plan


Today, I still want to be my best as well as to do good; I want to ethically use leverage to achieve my ambitious goals in life. For example, I want to significantly reduce obesity in Jamaica within the next ten (10) years. And I want to influence others to lead better lives through good nutrition, regular physical activity and the application of wisdom. I want to be a change agent in the wellness revolution. Generally, I want to make a difference in the world. Do you?

Brilliant Marketing Today, Changing Lives

Actively marketing the wellness industry is an idea whose time has come. Herbalife has done it brilliantly.

"You can have brilliant ideas, but if you can´t get them across, your ideas won´t get you anywhere" (Lee Iacocca). Herbalife is the realization of a dream; moreover, implementation of this great idea is actually taking persons up the marketing ladder, which translates to extra income for part-timers or incredible career income for full-time distributors.

For example, consider Leroy James, "World Team" member, who was among the top twenty-five (25) Jamaican distributors in August 2007. Leroy, twenty-one (21), meets his own living expenses (room, board and incidentals) while attending the University of the West Indies (UWI) as an undergraduate student through his Herbalife business.

"I like Herbalife because of the freedom that comes being my own boss. My part-time income is more than many full-time workers. I get to choose the people I work with and where and when I work, moving between two cities, my home base in Montego Bay and Kingston where I go to school. I get to travel without asking for time off; and, I earn while on vacation. Best of all, the possibility exists for exponential growth in my income."



There are many more incredible stories from persons from all walks of life: higglers (street market vendors), beauticians, auto-mechanics, professors and physicians. You just have to hear some of them in person to believe....

Herbalife "crawled" in its first year (1980), selling its Formula Nutritional Shake Mix product out of the trunk of the founder's car; gross retail sales totalled US$2 million. The top annual bonus check in 1984 for the leading distributor was only US$125,000.

Herbalife "walked" briskly by 1985; collectively, distributors sold US$500 million of products. By year 2000, Herbalife was up and "running" by all accounts when its founder Mark Hughes died. [Net sales for the 2000 first quarter (after distributor allowances) increased 7.8 percent to $244 million from $226 million in the same quarter 1999.]

As Salon writer commented in a June 2000 article about the reason for the company's success, "Creating a high-profile brand seems to have been the key. For the few remaining humans who don't know, Herbalife sells health and dietary supplements primarily through distributors who pitch their friends and neighbors, much in the same way Mary Kay sells cosmetics."

"But unlike Amway, the privately held titan in the field commonly known as multilevel marketing, Herbalife is accountable to shareholders and had a highly recognizable figure at its helm. 'The growth of the sales force was cultic,' says William Crookston, a professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business Administration. 'It became very charismatic and grew very quickly.'" (Alec Foege, Salon.com)

Well, Herbalife is no cult; it's a movement that can be called revolutionary in an era of bulging waistlines and increasing health care costs. Herbalife has effectively helped persons with weight management; moreover, persons with various health challenges consume our cellular nutrition program as well as the targeted nutritional supplements from Herbalife that have helped the body heal itself!

The Salon.com writer continued to analyze Herbalife's business strategy: "As the Internet emerged, ... Web customers could go to the company's new site, enter their distributor's PIN number and make purchases on their own. Unleashed by the Web, Herbalife quickly developed a foolproof way to track commissions and reduce advertising costs. The company's online selling method has other benefits: Since buyers have the option to pay distributors directly, it provides an online buying experience for customers afraid to release their credit card information over the Web. Herbalife also instituted a fairly innovative program of customer-service chat rooms, post-sales service and sales follow-up.

"In the wake of its founder's death, Herbalife remains something of a Web success story. 'This company is very advanced in its use of electronic commerce,' says professor Crookston. 'They recognized that, even on the Internet, you're not going to get rid of human contact,' explains Crookston."

Now Herbalife is "sprinting" like Asafa Powell, the 100m world record holder; the company sold products valued at US$3 billion last year (2006). In fact, its surplus overflows; more than five (5) top distributors earned an annual bonus over US$1 million as a reward for their 2006 production volumes.

Michael O. Johnson, Herbalife CEO, was recently interviewed by Jim Kramer on his TV show "Mad Money." Kramer said that Herbalife (HLF) is "one of the best buybacks on the New York Stock Exchange." Herbalife Chairman and CEO Michael O. Johnson took the stage at Reunion Arena July 14 to the cheers of more than 10,000 distributors. With a simple question, “Are you ready to change your life?” Johnson managed to convey his confidence in the power of Herbalife’s products and opportunity. Inspiring that same confidence in his audience was a resounding theme in his opening-session remarks. “This weekend is about filling you with confidence,” he said. “Start with a dream.
